 Boca Raton Regional Hospital CPR program is proud to offer Basic Life Support for Health Care providers (BLS for HCP). This course meets all mandated requirements by the American Heart Association guidelines and is an official AHA course. The BLS for HCP class is recommended for the following professionals: M.D., D.O., Dentists, R.N., L.P.N., Speech Pathologists, Physical Therapists, Registered Dietitian, Paramedics, Firefighters, Police, Nursing, EMT or Paramedic students and Life Guards.  

This is a video driven instructor lead course and includes instruction of the following: one and two person CPR rescue of the adult, child and infant, relief of the choking conscious and unconscious patient, use of the Automated External Defibrillator (AED) and rescue breathing with barrier devices.

First time or renewal student will receive hands on practice and experience real life scenarios to prepare them for a cardiac or respiratory emergency.

Upon completion of the required material - a 25 question test passed with a minimum of 84% and skills test- an AHA BLS for HCP  E-card will be issued. 

The AHA BLS for HCP is valid for 2 years from the month and date it is issued.


 Learn the simple steps of CPR to save your baby, child or a friend's life and prevent a tragedy.  Boca Raton Regional Hospital is proud to offer the American Heart Association class Family and Friends infant, child and adult CPR class.

It's not necessary to have a health care back ground; this course is designed for parents of infants and toddlers, grandparents, babysitters and family and friends who want to learn the basics of infant, child or adult CPR, choking and safety.  It course is especially recommended for expectant parents in preparation of the arrival of their baby.  This course is not approved for BRRH employees.

$25 per person each person must register individually.

AHA Certification Cards expire 2 years from the innitial date of completion date on the card and is current until the last day of the month it was issued. 

All replacement cards will be mailed to the recipient at the address provided. If you must pick up your card, please call 561-955-4518 to schedule a time for pick up.


Please note - If you took ACLS or PALS class at our facility, the course provider was Emergency Medical Consultants. If you have lost your card and need a replacement, please DO NOT use this feature to order a new card.
